On Capitol Hill, nobody votes alone

The ballots have been distributed — some twice. The endorsements and the polls are being released fast and furiously. Tuesday night at glossy, throbbing, garden-growing new Capitol Hill nightclub Q, your voting experience can harken back to election days of yore when we waited in lines, met friendly precinct volunteers and enjoyed tangible democracy. Meet the candidate, vote with friends. Have a drink. Don’t vote alone. Party is free and run 7-10p. Doors at 4:30p if you want to, um, prepare.

We’re collecting early ballots [Tuesday!] at Q at a party hosted by Dan Savage and The Stranger.

Washington’s next Governor, Jay Inslee, will be there — along with the mayor of Seattle, Congressman Jim McDermott, Speaker of the Washington State Legislature Frank Chopp, and half the Seattle City Council.

So come out and drop your ballot off, meet your reps, give ’em a piece of your mind, and have a smart cocktail at Q.
