CHS Pics | January sun numbs any sting of winter on Capitol Hill

(Image: erintrep via Instagram)

Partly sunny, partly freezing January days make for photographic opportunities to mark the passing of the seasons including the annual excitement over the freezing of the Cal Anderson reflection pool.

The seagulls are not amused.

But even the Seahawks loss doesn’t sting so bad when a few friends — Scott, Jason, Robert, and Aaron — can hold their own personal Super Bowl in the park.

Forecasts call for a mostly rain-free Seattle into next week. You might see a snowflake or two but nothing like Capitol Hill saw last year.
