Elliott Bay’s legendary buyer to judge 2013 National Book Award

Elliott Bay Book Company has announced that book buyer Rick Simonson has been selected as a judge for the 2013 National Book Award for fiction.

The winner will be announced in November. Louise Erdrich’s The Round House was honored in 2012.

CHS recently talked with Simonson about his more than 30 years at Elliott Bay as the store celebrates its fourth decade of serving Seattle readers.
