Just visited Seattle which I do once or twice a year. Grew up on Capitol Hill in the 1970’s. I have to say, the development pace is completely out of control and in my mind has ruined the hill. So many ugly, big box condo developments everywhere dwarfing the other structures and casting all the beautiful historic structures in their shadow. Yuck. I don’t know what the planners were thinking. Capitol Hill was a special place, but not any more. Just another monument to developer greed.

p.s. this development for this corner is way out of scale. Again, have no idea what the planners are thinking.
