• $13k burglary: A burglary of a residence — apparently committed as its owner slept off a night of partying — in the 400 block of 10th Ave E netted more than $13,000 in stolen property, according to Seattle Police. The Tuesday, January 28th early morning rip-off cleaned the place out of jewelry, a laptop, video game systems, luggage and a pricey bicycle. According to the victim, he arrived home that morning around 2 AM highly intoxicated and went to bed without noticing anything amiss. But when he awoke around 8 that morning, he noticed his “unique and expensive bicycle” was missing, began to panic “and quickly sobered up.” Police collected evidence at the scene. The total value of items taken was listed at $13,680.
• Burglary suspect search: Likely unrelated to the $13,000 job above, SPD is looking for this woman in connection with a Capitol Hill burglary that trashed a residence last year.
• Driver walks away from E Madison rollover: It’s not often that almost nobody notices a vehicle flipping over on a major Capitol Hill thoroughfare but this Super Bowl Sunday crash didn’t cause much of a ruckus — and the lucky driver walked away mostly unharmed. Here are a few details on the 6:07 PM crash at 15th and Madison from Seattle Fire:
  

  A male driver rolled his car over at the intersection of 15th Avenue and East Madison Street. The man was able to crawl out his window and did not suffer any injuries.  We were on scene for just 3 minutes because the patients declined treatment or transport. SPD also responded.

• Thief lights victim’s cigarette, steals phone: A thief kind enough to provide his victim a light for her cigarette made of with her iPhone in a mugging reported early on the morning of Friday, January 31st. The victim told police she was walking near Pine and Broadway when she asked the male suspect for a light. After she had her smoke lit, the victim told police she was walking away when she felt somebody tug the phone from her sweater pocket. She turned and saw the suspect holding her phone. When she demanded he give it back, the victim said the suspect ran west on E Pine with her phone. A search for the suspect was not successful.
• First Hill Super Bowl pepper spray: Police investigated an assault on First Hill after a woman said she was hit in the face with pepper spray by a suspect she had invited over to watch the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl Sunday incident in the 1100 block of 8th Ave was reported to have happened around 7:30 PM. According to the victim, she had a disagreement with the suspect and told him to leave at which point he pepper sprayed her and fled the apartment.
• Overpass camp mugging: A man who said he was visiting an encampment beneath the Pine overpass of I-5 to buy drugs told police he was robbed of his jacket, his phone and his bag in the process, according to the report on the mugging. The SPD officer investigating the Friday afternoon, January 31st robbery said the victim was advised to call 911 if he saw his assailants again.
• ETG break-in: Somebody broke into the former home of the Electric Tea Garden early on the morning of January 30th. According to a report on the incident, police arrived to find the front glass door to the building in the 1400 block of E Pike shattered. No other details of the break-in were reported.
• Repeat burglary victim: A burglary victim who said the second burglary of his 10th Ave residence just south of Seattle U caused him to move back to Oklahoma, called police late last month to report the December break-in:
