Police are investigating an armed robbery reported early Tuesday morning in Pike/Pine.

Officers were called by a witness to Harvard and Pike just after 2 AM to a reported robbery attempt involving three assailants. Police were looking for a group of three from the hold-up described only as two black males in dark clothing and a third wearing a red beanie and white sweatpants. Police are investigating the hold-up as an armed robbery.

A search of the area for the suspects was not immediately successful.

Seattle Fire was called to the scene to treat a victim pushed to the ground in the incident.
