• $29,000 burglary: Seattle Police are investigating a brazen daytime burglary of a home in the 2300 block of Harvard Ave E that reportedly netted nearly $29,000 in stolen goods including $5,500 in cash. The victims reported around $40,000 in damage and stolen goods in the Friday, June 12th break-in that occurred during the day while they were away from their North Capitol Hill home just above I-5:
  As noted, police were able to collect possible suspect fingerprints at the scene. UPDATE: The suspect was also caught on surveillance cam.
• Broadway burglary: More than $5,000 worth of goods were stolen from a store in the 700 block of Broadway E in a burglary reported early on the morning of June 11th. According to the SPD report on the incident, the “forced entry” of the unnamed shop happened around 3 AM that Thursday morning.
• Carjacking investigation: Police investigated a report of an armed carjacking attempt Monday afternoon near 23rd and Jackson. In an incident initially reported as a shooting, police and medics rushed to the area to a report that a man had been grazed with a shot to the head. The victim later changed his story and told police he had been pistol whipped in a carjacking attempt but was able to get his car back by grabbing the keys. Meanwhile, Sunday night at 23rd and Jackson, police investigated a report of shorts fired involving at least one vehicle in the parking lot near Walgreens. There were no injuries and no arrests.
• 14th/Spruce SWAT standoff: SWAT and SPD officers closed off the streets around a home near 14th and Spruce on the afternoon of June 10th in what SPD says was a domestic violence incident involving threats of a gun reported to an out-of-state law enforcement agency. After a few hours standoff, SWAT determined that the residence was empty.
• Officer assault: A man was arrested for assaulting a police officer during an arrest last Friday night inside the Broadway Market QFC. According to the report on the incident, police were called to remove the suspect who was causing a disturbance inside the store:
  The officer was treated at Swedish following the incident. The report also notes that the suspect did “significant damage to patrol vehicle 576.” He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault, property damage, and for an outstanding warrant.
• Summit/Pine robbery: A report on a May Capitol Hill street robbery that may have involved a female accomplice selecting the victim in an unnamed Seattle club has been released by Seattle Police:There have been no arrests.
• 12th/Harrison stabbing: Police discovered a bloody trail near a man found near 12th and Harrison with a laceration to his arm Wednesday night, June 10th. According to the report on the 5PM incident, the homeless victim was not a cooperative witness and could provide little information about how he suffered the 3-inch cut to his forearm. The victim said only that the cut was the result of an altercation with an unknown male who injured the victim with a carpet cutter. Seattle Fire arrived to treat the non-life threatening injury.
• Morning pepper spray attack in Cal Anderson: Police were called to Cal Anderson Park around 8 AM on Wednesday, June 10th to investigate a reported robbery. Police arrived to find a very “animated and upset” victim with what appeared to be “pepper spray residue” on his shirt. The male victim told police he was “working on his bike and yelling to himself as usual” when a woman approached him and told the man to shut up. The victim said he began yelling at the woman and her boyfriend arrived and began “pepper spraying” him. The victim said he began chasing his assailant but returned to find his bike damaged and his “wallet with ID, global cash card and social security card as well as his phone” missing. Seattle Fire was called to treat the man for pepper spray exposure. There were no arrests.
• SPD seeks May Day suspects info: Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects who attacked a media vehicle during the May Day 2015 protests on Capitol Hill:
  
  

  

  

  Detectives are asking for help identifying two suspects who damaged a car during the May Day riots on Capitol Hill.

  The first suspect, a man with blonde hair, wearing a jacket with leather sleeves can be seen striking the car window with a chain. The second suspect, wearing black shorts and a black cutoff shirt is shown swinging at and breaking the window.
