Just before dawn Saturday morning, flames were spotted rising from the top of Cal Anderson’s Fountain Mountain. Seattle Police and fire units arrived to extinguish the blaze. The pile of charred garbage left behind was either a sign of arson most foul or the bursting open of some hobgoblin portal to start the weekend’s celebration. We’ll let you decide. Happy Hilloween. 2016’s celebration of the spooky and macabre comes during already freaky times. But the party across Capitol Hill can remind us what is truly scary. We were freaked out by Donald Trump last year. It is time to move on. Here is a look at some of the fun from the weekend nightlife version of Halloween on Capitol Hill.
