On the List | 2017 kids film fest starts at Northwest Film Forum, Orphic at the Conservatory

Light art, film for kids, and a little civic duty highlight the things to do around Capitol Hill this weekend. Thursday night, the community crime group EastPAC will be talking Block Watch and crime prevention, while 12th Ave’s Northwest Film Forum kicks off its 2017 Children’s Film Festival Seattle. You can read more about the 2017 edition of the popular festival here. Saturday, meanwhile, brings Orphic, the final night in the light art-focused Sylvan Series with installations inside the Volunteer Park Conservatory. These and more on the CHS Calendar, below.
