A male victim suffered cuts to his face and was robbed and two males were detained by police after a reported fist fight near Cal Anderson Friday night turned into an armed robbery, according to East Precinct radio dispatches.

Police were called to the area around Nagle Place around 10 PM Friday and found an adult male victim bleeding from the head and reporting his phone and wallet had been stolen by a group including one male armed with a handgun.

Police searched the area for a group reported as four Asian males wearing dark clothing. One male wearing a grey hoodie and sweats was reportedly armed with a handgun.

Two suspects were found in the area of the parking lot above the Pike and Harvard QFC and detained by police. They were identified by a witness and taken into custody, according to radio dispatches. At least one person detained was a juvenile male. There was no report of a gun being recovered in the incident but the victim’s ID was found by police on one of the suspects.
