CHS Pics | A happy, ‘open-minded’ Capitol Hill Easter from Pastor Kaleb

Pastor Kaleb, legend goes, gave his first sermon in the streets of Seattle’s WTO protests in 1999. This weekend, he returned to the pulpit of the Century Ballroom for his annual Easter service, “a tradition started many years ago, is for the open-minded of all age and kind.”

CHS stopped by the Saturday sermon — “SATURDAY SHOW ADDED!!!” isn’t something you see in the Easter pitch from other community churches but maybe they should consider it. The message is of fun, acceptance, having a good time, and looking good in your Easter best.

“Celebrate the coming of spring, the return of flowers, the joy of the place we live,” the pastor reminds. Happy Easter.
