The plays were the thing this weekend in Volunteer Park as the annual Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival filled the public green space with drama, comedy, and, thanks to the hot summer temperatures, a general appreciation for more matter with less art. CHS stopped by Saturday’s Greenstage performance of The Three Musketeers.
Later this week, Volunteer Park will be busy again. Thursday night brings the annual Summer Picnic in Volunteer Park. This year, in addition to a night of community picnicking, the Volunteer Park Trust will be showing off the design for the new lily pond fencing due to go up in the park.
Aw this looks real cool. I’m catching the next one.
Cheers!
