Capitol Hill Community Council open house will team up with artist ‘yearbook’ release party

The Capitol Hill Community Council is planning its end of the year open house for next Tuesday night, December 11th in conjunction with the release of a special artist “yearbook” project from Blue Cones Studios:

This year we are switching things up…but still ending the year with COMMUNITY! We are teaming up with Blue Cone Studios‘ event next Tuesday at Fred Wildlife Refuge to get your input on ways we can engage further in the community and what you would like to see in 2019. Thank you again to Sizzle Pie and Cupcake Royale for providing the annual treats!

“Our council represents the diverse needs of those living & working on Capitol Hill to encourage a sense of community and foster community development. This year has been a growing and learning experience for all communities across the country,” the council announcement reads.  “One of the biggest strengths of community is that we are non-partisan, and can create a space for community problem-solving that is not muddled by political conflict. Use this time to give thanks and love each other!”

The Blue Cone Studios project is a “traditional, hardback yearbook, with individual head shots, group photos, promotional space for businesses, and a glossary of artist websites by medium” produced by the Shunpike-powered arts nonprofit.
