Ali Brown will face his murder charges in Seattle.

The Seattle Times reports Brown is now held in King County Jail following a guilty plea and life sentence for a murder in New Jersey:

A date for Brown’s arraignment hasn’t been set but is expected in the next couple of weeks. His extradition from New Jersey required an executive agreement between New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee. Once the Seattle case against Brown is resolved, he’ll be returned to New Jersey to serve out his life sentence, said a spokesman for King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg.

Brown faces charges in King County on three slayings including two men he met on Capitol Hill police say he told them he gunned down because they were gay.

Prosecutors say Brown was “jihad-inspired” when he murdered 23-year-old Dwone Anderson-Young and and 27-year-old Ahmed Said in the June 1st, 2014 slayings. The two were shot to death early on a Sunday morning after a night on Capitol Hill. Their bodies were found in the area of 29th and King near the home Anderson-Young shared with his mother.

Earlier that year, 30-year-old Leroy Henderson “was walking home from a Skyway store when he was shot at least six times in the back by Brown, who was driving his former girlfriend’s SUV and had stolen her 9-mm handgun from her Tacoma apartment, according to criminal charges filed by King County prosecutors,” the Seattle Times reports.
