Maybe hiring a few cops would help? (And not treating them like shit)

Heard the shots from my kitchen window. There were 5 in rapid succession. The police showed up almost instantly. I didn’t see a white SUV but heard a car really revving up. Hope they get the suspect. This is a nice area where doggies play in the field and a new daycare and kindergarten is going in the old mansion on the corner of 17th and Madison. .

More officers, more training. Lack of police presence won’t slow down crime. Crime will likely get more violent as folks try to handle situations on their own, not realizing how many people are walking around/driving around with guns. Guns and bullets were selling out all around here when the pandemic took hold. The “protests,” increased gun and ammo sales. We need officers to handle the lawless people who can’t govern themselves yet who are carrying weapons everywhere they go. Saw someone get out of their car the other day and a gun fell out onto the ground.
