Police investigating First Hill scissor attack

Police are investigating what led to a stabbing incident on First Hill Tuesday morning that left one person with multiple stab wounds and another unconscious and bleeding profusely from a reported self inflicted stab wound to his neck.

According to Seattle Police, officers were called to the 400 block of Terry Ave near Harborview for a reported disturbance just after 8 AM Tuesday. Police say callers reported two naked men running westbound on Jefferson from Terry.

“One of the men was bleeding significantly, and the other appeared to be chasing him with scissors,” SPD reports. One man ran to the emergency room entrance of Harborview Medical Center and where he was treated for multiple stab wounds, according to police.

Police found the man they believe to have been attacking the other man unconscious and bleeding heavily from a severe cut to his neck less than a block away at the entrance to a Terry Ave coliving and apartment building. SPD says the suspect’s injuries appeared to be self inflicted.

Police were working to identify the men and sort out what led to the stabbing attack.

Welp, that’s a strong contender for weirdest story of the month. In this town, in this neighborhood, that’s saying something.
