Check out capitolhillartwalk.com for a map and details.
- THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY: Upper Left Comedy Festival — Capitol Hill’s Club Comedy and the Northwest Film Forum will host three days of stand-up and performance events featuring Pacific Northwest comedy favorites and nationally known acts including Ron Lynch, Jackie Kashian, Derek Sheen, David Gborie, Emmett Montgomery, Monica Nevi, Birungi Birungi, and Andy Iwancio.
Organizers say this first annual edition of the event is three years in the making after the pandemic stalled the hopes and dreams of co-founders Sarah Crowe, Isaac Novak and CB Shamah to create a festival “that shines a light on our talented, diverse and inclusive community of performers and creatives, as well as our amazing PNW audiences that love them.” - SATURDAY: Abortion rights protests — Ongoing Seattle activism will include The Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s call for supporters to gather on Capitol Hill Saturday starting at 11 AM in Cal Anderson as part of rallies and marches it is organizing around the country.
- SATURDAY: On the Block — A new monthly street fair will take over 11th Ave between Pike and Pine for the first time Saturday afternoon and into the night in an effort to support artists and creators, bolster the economy of the neighborhood, and community bonds.
