Studs expands to Seattle with new Capitol Hill ear piercing studio — UPDATE

UPDATE: We’ve added some pictures of the new shop provided by Studs

A “celeb-loved” retail concept bringing scale to custom-style ear piercing is set to open in Pike/Pine.

Studs, “a piercing studio meant to appeal to a conscious millennial and Gen-Z customer,” will open its 13th U.S. location this week in the Greenus Building on E Pike. The new store is part of the building home to upscale Korean BBQ restaurant Meet and the offices of Add3.

The fast growing company says it is adding three more stores through the rest of the year. The company says each of its stores “has unique touches that reflect their local audience.”

Studs says it combines “the fun and playful brand experience with expert piercings” while reimagining “the antiquated ear piercing experience for new generations capturing the attention of Gen Z and millennial consumers alike!” Its arrival joins several boutique piercing and tattoo art studios on the Hill.

For its grand opening, the shop says it is partnering with FareStart to donate $5,000 to the nonprofit.

Studs is set to open at 500 E Pike on Thursday, July 28th. You can learn more at studs.com.
