The annual town hall meeting to help constituents catch up and hold our state representatives accountable on issues including gun control, traffic safety, mental health and school funding, homelessness, and housing affordability will take place next week.
This year’s 43rd District town hall is scheduled for Saturday, March 11th at First Hill’s First Baptist Church.
Sen. Jamie Pedersen announced the town hall in his latest legislative update. “We are excited to see constituents in person and to answer your questions about this year’s legislative session,” Pedersen writes.
In his update, Pedersen also provides information on his Senate Bill 5028 to strengthen safety and privacy protections to make name changes in the state more accessible.
The March 11th town hall is expected to also include Rep. Frank Chopp and Rep. Nicole Macri.
