Harry would like an opportunity to talk to these two “chuckle heads” — The Pizza Man has gone missing on 15th Ave E.
Harry’s Bar says the mascot statue was taken this week and the crew at the Olympia Pizza sibling tavern are looking for these two men caught on security video the night it went missing.
“On Thursday 7/31 these two ‘chuckle heads’ made off with our Pizza Man,” Harry’s said in an update in the CHS Facebook Group. “The Pizza Man has been a part of Olympia Pizza / Harry’s Bar for decades and is a sorely missed member of our family. Any help finding him would be greatly appreciated.” UPDATE: We checked with Harry’s to clarify the date — the statue was taken Wednesday the 31st around 10:30 PM.
“I hope Pizza Man haunts them every single night until they figure it out and return him,” said one CHS group member in the comments.
“Too bad they didn’t take the creepy guy instead. That thing freaks me out Every. Single. Time. Hope you find your Pizza Man,” wrote another.
Harry’s Bar — along with the Pizza Man and the “creepy guy” Halloween dummy that is still keeping watch inside the tavern — has grown into a neighborhood classic since its 2010 debut when 15th Ave E Olympia owner Harry Nicoloudakis expanded into the space left empty by the exit of the Sonic Boom record store from the street.
If you can help reunite the bar with Pizza Man, get in touch with Harry’s here.

I mean I love a Seinfeld reference as much (more maybe) than anyone. But it’s “Newman”.
This reminds me of when someone stole the head of the knight at the Canterbury, after it had stood sentry for decades. The good news is that years later, it reappeared atop the knight’s body one evening, as mysteriously as it had gone. For a few years after that, the ‘bury celebrated with an annual Day the Knight Returned Special. Hopefully the same happens for Harry’s!
