Well I have to admit I wish I’d gone to the earlier design approval meeting in January…because when I saw the picture this morning I thought….IT’S A BOX. Pure and simple – a box. Was there seriously no money leftover whatsoever for the least bit of architectural detailing? I admire their commitment to providing low-income housing in the neighborhood, and I know they needed more space, but it is tragic that yet another absolutely charming old house was destroyed to make way for THIS.
