While it wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, we should still be proud of our Seattle Mariners and what they have accomplished this season. This is, without a doubt, the best season they’ve had in many years. The fact that this team was even in contention to play in the World Series is a remarkable achievement in and of itself. Remember all those years when the prospect of the Mariners even reaching the playoffs was a laughable one at best? Its a new era in Seattle baseball history, and its best days may still be yet to come.
