Dec 8 @ 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Get ready for the holidays!  Joyful! Noise community choir presents “On Our Way Home.” And, premiers a brand new piece!

Launch the season with joy, nostalgia and inspiration!   We’ll be singing songs about what it means to come home at Christmas — the power, the sustenance, and the rebirth.   And, as a special treat, we’ll be premiering a brand new work by local composer Ben Markin, the winner of our 2019 Student Choral Composition Competition.  Come celebrate this new work, a setting of Frost’s poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,” as well as all the delightful songs in our program.

O come, all ye faithful! Music and readings from Holy Scripture combine in joyous proclamation of the Advent of Christ’s birth. The Cathedral youth and adult choirs, organ, and brass offer choral music and lead the congregation in carol singing, including Silent night in the glow of candlelight.

This liturgy is open to all; freewill offering, no passes required. Free parking in the Cabrini Tower Garage.
