Central Area LURC meeting

The Central Area Land Use Review Committee (LURC) will hold a meeting on Monday, February 24, at 6:30 PM at Byrd Barr Place (722 18th Avenue) that will include a presentation from the developer (CHH) and design team for the new building proposed for E. Union and 14th Ave.  (The site is currently the parking lot of the Helen V apartment building)

This project is proposed for a site recently rezoned to Midrise (MR) and is planned for eight stories and about 114 units of affordable housing.  It is within the 12th Avenue Urban Center Village and the area of the Central Area Design Guidelines   https://www.seattle.gov/Documents/Departments/SDCI/About/CentralAreaDesignGuidelines.pdf   There will be no formal public Design Review meeting conducted by the City of Seattle
