The Equality Effect, an international non-profit organization, is dedicated to using human rights laws to make women’s and girls’ rights real.

The organization helped 160 girls sue the Kenyan government for failing to protect them from being raped, and won. They are now working with local police to enable perpetrators to be brought to justice.

The Equality Effect has developed a replicable approach that is being sought after by countries seeking to apply the strategies in their own country contexts. It has been recognized by the United Nations and the Hague for best practices.

Dr. Fiona Sampson, founder of the Equality Effect, and Patricia Nyaundi, CEO of the Kenya National Human Rights Commission, will share their success stories and strategies. Please join us for a night of hope and inspiration. Learn how you can help us end the cycle of sexual assault of girls.

This is a free and invitation-only event. Please contact Sky Clark at for more information and to get your invitation.

Cocktails and small bites will be served. A request for support will be made at the event. The Equality Effect is a 501(c)3 organization and tax receipts will be provided for all donations.
