Gray frosting covering delicious baked goods helped raise funds and spirits in Pike/Pine Saturday as the worldwide Depressed Cake Shop movement popped up on Capitol Hill.
CHS wrote about the one-day bake sale here. The cakes, cupcakes and cookies were donated by local bakers. The Hill sale went well — all the treats were sold out early.
Proceeds from the sale benefitted the National Alliance for Mental Illness. If you missed out, we can’t help you with tracking down gray frosting but we can point you to NAMI-greater Seattle.com to make a donation.
