Po Dog’s customer appreciation day + Tavern Law begins happy hour

CHS Sponsor Po Dog offers $5 dogs all day today, as part of Customer Appreciation Day.  On Wednesdays, Po Dog’s hours run from 11 am to 12 am.  Perhaps in an ode to Unicorn’s success with corn dogs, Po Dog recently introduced its own version of a corn dog.  Note that all specialty dogs at Po Dog can be made vegetarian, since they will substitute a field roast link at your request.

Seattle Weekly notes that Tavern Law began offering happy hour Tuesday (6/1/10).  They offer $7 cocktails and 10% off all food.  Tavern Law’s Happy Hour runs from 5 to 7 pm Monday through Saturday (and all day Sunday).

Interesting hot dogs , but for me , just way over priced.

Had a dinner special on the Hill last night, Martins, nice perfect steak ( yes small but perfect), veggie and tater tots – a buck more than a lavish hot dog …. just my opinion.

I like your ideas…can I subscribe to your newsletter?

Martin’s is pretty good, I’ve been there for brunch a few times. Haven’t gone for dinner but I know they do really nice specials every night of the week.

This is what I was thinking. If $7 is a happy hour price how much are they normally? And 10% off? That just seems like a cop out.

The hot dogs are worth every penny.

I generally don’t compare hot dogs to steaks though. But then again, I don’t it my tots with steak either.

Really, folks – they’re great hot dogs, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere and setting is really comfortable. Don’t like the price? Go to one of the carts. But enough people seem to like PoDog and what they do to make them a kind of miraculous success story at this very precarious moment in our economic history. I had lunch there thias afternoon and I was thrilled w/ the food and to be able to support a small biz thats doing a really good job at what they do. There are certainly other options for folks who don’t like spending the cash…
