Blick Art Materials is proud to announce the grand opening of its new Seattle location! Please join us at the corner of Broadway & Pine on April 22nd at 12pm as we celebrate our grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and an afternoon of food, art and music. 4/22/10 Grand Opening - 12pm Join us for our official ribbon cutting celebration! - 12-3pm Listen to a DJ set from local favorites, Emerald City Soul Club. 4/23/10 Activities and Product Demonstrations - 10am-1pm Pastel artists won’t want to miss this demo, using both Sennelier oil pastels and soft pastels. - 1-4pm Attend a live acrylic painting demonstration using products from Golden Artist Colors. - 3-6pm Emerald City Soul Club will be back for an encore DJ set! - 4-7pm A representative from Chroma will introduce guests to Atelier Interactive Acrylics during this painting demonstration. Atelier Interactive Acrylics help artists control the open time of the paint, allowing for a greater variety of techniques and achievable effects. 4/24/10 Activities and Product Demonstrations - 10am-1pm Attend a live acrylic painting demonstration using products from Golden Artist Colors. - 1-4pm A representative from Chroma will introduce guests to Atelier Interactive Acrylics during this painting demonstration. Bring the kids by to paint mini canvas masterpieces, fold up nifty origami projects, have their faces painted, and create beautiful tissue paper flowers to take home and enjoy. 4/30/10 Product Demonstrations - 9am-12pm Create your own one-of-a-kind greeting cards during a Strathmore card making demonstration. - 12-3pm Learn decorative porcelain painting techniques during a demonstration using Pébéo paints. 5/1/10 Product Demonstrations - 11am-3pm Ampersand panels come in a variety of sizes and several surface textures. Attend this “Playing with Paints on Panels” demonstration to explore their versatility using paints from Holbein. - 3-7pm Anyone interested in pottery won’t want to miss this demonstration using products from AMACO. 5/2/10 Painting Demonstration - 2-4pm Join author and landscape artist, Mitch Albala, for a live painting session!
