I’ve been so frustrated with the recent burglaries in Capitol Hill, Madison Valley and Madrona that I sent the stories to all of the local TV stations and newspapers, hoping to get a little more support for catching these guys and keeping them in jail. Today I got a call from King 5, who would like to do a story on the break ins. They’re looking for folks who are willing to talk on camera about how the break ins are affecting our neighborhood. If you’d like to be part of their story, please contact Melissa at 206-448-3850. She’ll be in the office working on the story until 7:00 tonight, and on Saturday and Sunday, too. Thanks!
Oh, I guess he only investigates consumer problems/issues.
Pretty hard not to sound like a lunatic in a television interview. (same thing with a blog interview so be careful)
I wish they would also focus on the details of what the police have done to stop the thefts and clear up whether its true or not that the police have locked up the perps a few times only to let them go again. I think we already know how this makes people in these neighborhoods “feel”.
These kids robbed my neighbor. What I also just found out was they then came back and stole their car a few days later since they apparently stole a valet key. Shortly after, not sure one a black kid was caught close to the car with the key in his pocket yet the cops claimed they didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute. It’s very scary what’s going on with these 3 kids. They are free to roam and rob at will apparently. Just a matter of time before they physically hurt someone badly. Something needs to be done.
