it bothers me the most when it’s a sunday and i know the buses are only running every half hour. should i just walk? take a different bus? call the rider info line? chances are the bus will pull up before i finish going through all their stupid prompts (no i DON’T know the bus time stop number!)
but out of all the missing schedules, the one missing from the broadway & e john 43 stop bothers me the most:
Not only should Metro make sure that all of the schedules are in place, they should have VALID DATES on them so you can tell if they are the most current, plus the cool code you can use from your cell phone to find out when the next bus is coming. Does everyone know about that? It’s wicked… but ya gotta know the phone number to call, the bus route number, etc.
that replacement text is probably more accurate than the printed schedule anyway.
I just got my iphone a week ago and it’s already paid for itself in bus times. It takes about 15 seconds to find exactly when the next bus is due anywhere — awesome!

I used this web app when I was in grad school a few years ago – going between Cap Hill and UW everyday.
