  • Free wine tastings: today at at Madison Market from 5:30 to 7:30 pm & tomorrow at CHS Sponsor Vino Verite featuring Argentinian Wines and Spanish Guitar
  • Haiti Fundraisers: tomorrow CHS Sponsor Coastal Kitchen is donating 25% of the day’s sales to Mercy Corps and Dinette is donating 10% of the proceeds from their upcoming (1/24) Sunday Supper to Nethope
  • Saturday (1/23) is National Pie Day and Dani Cone, owner of CHS Sponsor Fuel Coffee/High 5 Pie, is offering special discounts for orders for that day
  • A CHS inquiring mind wanted us to look into where Mi Suk Ahn may be tending (now that she’s no longer at the Living Room).  Seattle Metropolitan finds that she has returned to Brasa.
  • Linda Derschang confirmed today that Oddfellows will be introducing now offers a bottomless cup of coffee ($2.20), possibly as early as next week (we have asked what the price point and exact date is and will share once we know) and they have also instituted a Sunday Supper ($35 including wine!)

dont forget many fundraisers over at waid’s haitian bar and restaurant. very good food and fresh intl vibe if not slightly south of the hill (10 minute walk?)
