Opening celebration at Seven Hills Park and Howell Collective P-Patch

Capitol Hill neighbors joined Seattle City Council member Sally Bagshaw, Seattle Parks and Recreation, and Seattle Department of Neighborhoods’ Howell Collective P-Patch for an opening celebration at the new Seven Hills Park Thursday evening at 1514 E. Howell.

This neighborhood gathering space features an open lawn bordered by the Howell Collective garden to the north and a crushed rock plaza and pathway lined with trees to the south. Other elements include barbecues, picnic tables, benches, and the eponymous seven hills stone sculpture.

While the lawn will remain fenced off until spring to protect the grass until it becomes fully established, the Howell Collective P-Patch continues to meet and plan for their upcoming fall/winter plantings. For more information, see: http://howellcollective.wordpress.com/
