You like to do things. We like to tell you what to do. Match made in heaven. Capitol Hill events and across-Seattle highlights, below, including a chance to talk Hill history with MOHAI Thursday night:
Thursday January 20th, 7 to 8 p.m., Roy Street Coffee & Tea, 700 Broadway Ave E
MOHAI, KCTS 9, Seattle Public Library and HistoryLink invite history enthusiasts to join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Roy Street Coffee & Tea on Capitol Hill for lively conversation and special guest presentations. Each month we’ll explore a different topic and give you the chance to share what you know while learning from experts, friends, and neighbors. Grab a cup of coffee – or glass of wine – and discover the past!
This month, take a closer look at the history of one of Seattle’s most colorful neighborhoods – Capitol Hill. Find out about the area’s early developers, residents, and businesses. Then join a conversation about what continues to make Capitol Hill unique today. Tips on how to research your own ‘hood will also be provided.

Too bad the history event is on the exact same night as the community council meetings. A number of council members would love to attend. Anyone know who to contact about the MOHAI events?
