Over on Questionland, Seattle experts are answering gardening questions for the week. These experts include Rich Macdonald from the city’s P-Patch program, folks from City People’s Garden Store, farmers from Oxbow Farm and King County Master Gardeners volunteers.
Anyone can ask and answer questions on Questionland. This week’s focus will be on gardening in Seattle- when, where and what to plant, how the city P-Patch program works, how to grow organically and other gardening strategies.
Here are some recent questions:
Should I fertilize my fig sapling? Is it too late to plant Dahlias? What is wrong with my jasmine?

Hello,
We are four sisters (Maya, Ana, Pari and Cymran) and we are doing a blog about eating healthy as part of our summer curriculum. We would like to know what the benefits are of having your own garden. I have been assigned the job of reporter this week so I need to figure out why it is good to own your own garden. I would like to interview any person on your staff and possibly video tape our interview. I am very excited about this blog, and hope to hear from you soon.
