The People’s Republic of Komedy, the Capitol Hill-based arts non-profit, is partnering with Unexpected Productions, and Seattle SketchFest to create a comprehensive comedy education program at the Intiman. Beginning September 10th, Classes cover a diverse array of topics: from sketch writing and performance, to improv, to stand-up comedy. The improv school at Unexpected Productions has long been a gateway to the comedy scene for newcomers. By adding sketch and stand-up to their roster, UP hopes to offer students a greater variety of performance styles and opportunities.
