Local author Jon Davis and the film crew from Big Time Hype used Capitol Hill as the backdrop for a new book trailer. The book, “Thieves, Whores & Dinosaurs,” is a novel that pokes fun at eccentric writers and the strange personalities they cultivate. In keeping with the book’s tone they wanted to create a book trailer that was a satire of other book trailers. In choosing a location to shoot, Capitol Hill was at the top of their list.
“We needed a location with personality and charm and Capitol Hill was the perfect place to film,” Davis says.
