- Vehicle vs. motorcycle: Medics and police were called to Broadway and Pine Saturday morning to a report of a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash at the intersection. No details yet on what transpired in the 5:20 AM collision and we don’t have official word on the victim’s condition but one good sign is that the rider was transported to Harborview by private ambulance and not rushed to the emergency room by Seattle Fire. Southbound Broadway was briefly closed to traffic during the response.
- Block Party report: It wasn’t that much different from a typical Friday night for East Precinct handling the massive 10,000+ crowd in Pike/Pine. There were a handful of arrests from incidents inside or near the gates including assaults, a lewd act and attempted taggers but CHS isn’t aware of any serious attacks or medical issues from the first day of the 2013 music fest that will draw more than 30,000 music fans to the neighborhood.
- Street robberies reported: A street robbery at 12th and E Madison involving four suspects who pushed their victim to the ground was reported to police late Friday night. The suspect descriptions provided in the initial 911 call reporting the 11:45 PM incident were not very detailed but police were looking for a group of males wearing specific-colored t-shirts in the area around the Block Party. A phone and wallet were taken in the mugging. No medical personnel were sent to the scene. Additional muggings were reported at Harvard and Pine around 2 AM and another around the same time was reported by somebody who came into 12th/Pine’s East Precinct
- Prowler hunt: Police flooded the area around the 1000 block of Summit Ave E just after midnight to a report of two men possibly prowling in the area. No word yet on arrests in the hour-long search for the suspect or suspects who were seen possibly trying to enter a home in the area before fleeing through yards and the greenbelt in the area.

I really think you should start using the word “muggin’s.” It’s folksy.
