Orangetheory Fitness is a brand new and highly results driven fitness trend coming to Capitol Hill and Lower Queen Anne in early 2014 and definitely keeping it Local! The studio radiates “Seattle” flavor with it’s urban-industrial feel and down-to-earth, friendly staff. As for the workout….well let’s just say it’s something very special. Something the fitness world has never seen before.
The Orangetheory workout is a one hour, group dynamic training session with 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of full body strength training. The amazing thing is that everybody in class wears a heart rate monitor and they can see their heart rate AND calories on a big screen while they train. This ensures a great workout and takes the guess work out of it! Heart rate based training also allows the workout to progress with you as you get stronger and more athletic! Combine the technical parts of the workout with dim lights, fun music, and intense exercise intervals and you have the perfect fitness storm!
You know when you leave the gym and you’re not sure if you got a good workout or not? How about when you just get bored at the gym because you run out of ideas or you need somebody to hold you accountable? Do you hit plateaus because you get too strong for your workouts?
