Pink Gorilla will start 2023 with a new store open on Capitol Hill.
The video game retailer announced its first day of business will be January 1st at the new store as Pink Gorilla expands to E Pike. CHS reported here on the plans for the store in the 1,400-square-foot former consignment shop. It will be the first store shaped fully by Kelsey Lewin and Cody Spencer who purchased Pink Gorilla in 2016. The stores have been part of the city for more than 17 years.
The opening on E Pike included some drama when Spencer posted about finding a mystery safe hidden in the store.
But what the Pink Gorilla folks found inside did not live up to the hype.

Hopefully, Pink Gorilla shoppers will find a better payoff when the new store opens this weekend.
