- WEDNESDAY — Music in the Arboretum: Ben Hunter & The Intraterrestrials — The Arboretum’s FREE summer music series is back! Savor the sounds of beloved local musicians, enjoy a sweet treat, and relax among the trees. All ages welcome! On Wednesday, August 13, Ben Hunter & The Intraterrestrials will share folk music – past, present, and future – from the Black diaspora.
- THURSDAY — Capitol Hill Art Walk — Join us in the Chophouse Row courtyard for Capitol Hill Art Walk every second Thursday of the month
- THURSDAY — Dancing Til Dusk: Weather Birds @ Cal Anderson Park — Free dancing to live music with a portable dance floor. First hour is a lesson (no partner necessary), followed by 2 hours of dancing.
- THURSDAY — Summer Series at the Amphitheater — Kalimba and Day Soul Exquisite in the final Volunteer Park concert of the summer
- FRIDAY — Center City Cinema: Indiana Jones – Raiders of the Lost Ark — Freeway Park Films Movies start at 6:30 PM
- FRIDAY — GreenStage Presents FREE Shakespeare in the Park — Midsummer Night’s Dream in Pratt Park
- SATURDAY — Picnic at the Pillars — Join Lid I-5 for a community picnic on August 16 to celebrate a temporary reprieve from the roar of I-5 traffic due to the weekend closure of all northbound lanes.
- SUNDAY — Capitol Hill Garage Sale Day 2025 — The Capitol Hill Garage Sale returns Sunday, August 17th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Cal Anderson Park! This annual event is Seattle’s longest running community-wide garage sale and regularly features over 100 people selling their treasures in Cal Anderson Park in addition to many independent garage sales at homes across Capitol Hill.
