After three years of small stages and backrooms, the Jello Underground has found a home in the Balagan Theatre on Capitol Hill. Taking advantage of the new space, this explosive sensation is sure to be louder and more entertaining than ever before. Needless to say, it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen. The powerful female competitors are back to fight for the title, battling with beauty and brutality throughout each bout. Humor, theatrics, athletics, sex appeal, and empowerment are only a few of the things you can expect to experience as the Jello Underground goes monthly for the rest of the year. Leave your preconceived notions at the door, and step into the world of underground jello wrestling. Hosted by Georgia Myles.
Tickets are available in advance or at the door. All viewing is prime, with both floor seating and stadium-style seating available. All seats are general admission. There is a bar located in the theater.

- Also Saturday night, the annual Gay City Health benefit Halloween party BUMP! will become a Capitol Hill affair decking out Neumos:
.BUMP!, the Northwest’s hottest Halloween party and premier gay Halloween event returns to Seattle on Saturday, Oct 27. A benefit for Gay City Health Project, as well as the Seattle Men’s and Women’s Chorus Membership Assistance Program fund, BUMP! continues the decades old tradition of featuring heavenly music, decadent performances, and it’s famous $1000 cash prize costume contest. New for 2012 will be the venue: Neumos, on Capitol Hill.
Spinning on the turntables will be Q Capitol Hill and Cuff resident DJ Almond Brown, and Bottom Forty resident DJ Spaceotter.

Hilloween – a modern Halloween carnival on Capitol Hill – will take place Sunday, October 28, 2012 from noon-6 p.m. at Cal Anderson Park.
Hilloween is a free, community focused carnival that’s fun for kids and adults of all ages. Festivities include activities such as music, arts, story time, carnival games and face painting; top-notch entertainment from notable artists Recess Monkey and Jenny and her Ukulele; a marching band led costume parade (3 p.m.), and trick-or-treating at neighborhood businesses.
