Police Bust man in front of Broadway Performance Hall

Friday around 11am just as I was driving up to the B’way and Pine intersection a police car roared into the intersection with siren and lights on and stopped in front of my vehicle and the adjacent van a lane over.. the cop got out of his car with his gun drawn and pointed at someone on the sidewalk. ..within 60 seconds several more cars raced across the intersection, converging on a person on the sidwalk in front of Broadway Performance Hall.  The wrestled the guy with dyed green hair to the ground – he didn’t appear to be running or struggling during this arrest.  He was put in the car as I drove away.

Anyone know what this was about?

I was walking right behind the guy; I’m really not sure what happened, I just saw the police come out of no where with their guns drawn… I found this, I’m thinking this is the same incident.

CC seems to have nailed it:
11:02AM – Broadway & James – Weapons Call – Man got off the bus, put a green bandanna over his face, and is walking northbound with a knife in each hand.
Update: Man caught running northbound by police at Broadway & Pine, now in custody
