Mobile City and summer sale mean cheap eats, good Capitol Hill deals

We reported earlier on the plethora of end of summer block parties happening on the Hill and tonight marks the first party in that series. Molly Moon’s Ice Cream and The Adventure School are bringing “Mobile City” to celebrate Capitol Hill’s walkability and the kick of the Capitol Hill Summer Sale in the Bank of America parking lot on 10th Avenue. In the parking lot, mobile party goers will find bike-powered spin art, live music and food from the Rancho Bravo taco truck,  Maximus/Minimus and others between 6 and 10 p.m. Mobile City is one night only but the Summer Sale goes all weekend.

The Adventure School says the event will continue rain or shine this evening. Some areas will be covered but an Adventure School spokesperson advised brining a jacket or umbrella. True adventurers are always prepared. More word from the Adventure School blog:

  • 50 percent off all drinks at Moe Bar with a map
  • Make your pet happy with a 40 percent off cat or dog toy at the Feedbag
