Kumail Nanjiani is one of the most exciting young comedians to come out of New York in a long time. And people are taking note. He has performed stand-up on the Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Conan. He appeared regularly on Comedy Central’s Michael and Michael Have Issues and The Colbert Report. Variety has called him a comedian to watch. As Eugene Mirman told the New York Times, โ[He’s] been in New York less than two years and already heโs had so much happen and all of it has a pedigree — his success is inevitable.โ
Nanjiani has said that, unlike many comedians, he prefers to focus on what he likes over being critical, making his act a wide ranging discussion of video games, movies, his run-in with John Meyer, and scores of other topics. Now you can see him at Seattle’s own Laff Hole, July 20th.
