2006 was our first year on Capitol Hill. We had a lot of fun settling into the neighborhood and enjoying all the fun of owning a home. We also had a lot of visitors.

In our first 12 months, this site was visited nearly 30,000 times from around the world — from Seattle to Seal Beach. Of course, around half of those visits came from Seattle. But what is coolest is that we also had visits from 2,100 different cities across the planet. Most of these only sent one or two visits but it’s a lot of fun to be communicating with people from all parts of the globe. Here’s a mapping of these far flung visitors — the last 500 cities of the 1,000 or so that sent only one or two visits to the site in 2006.
