No more cows on 19th Ave

News from our Miller Park neighbors: The cow mural on the old factory at the corner of 19th and Madison might disappear soon as the property is developed. It's a goofy, great piece of pop art. It would be cool if somebody can find a way to preserve it.

If memory serves me right, that building used to be the Fratelli's ice cream factory, hence the cows. Can another old timer verify this?

yup, fratelli's that's right. used to pass the sign with the parents taking us home from swimming at madison park.

Man, that is going to be a huge loss of charm for the neighborhood! If anyone can preserve it, they should make every effort... What are they building there??
