Cal Anderson fountain fences finally, um, gone

Finished? Ferried away? Anyway, they are not there anymore, reports neighbor Michael H:

Not sure if this is old news or not, but the chain link construction fence that once surrounded the reservoir at Cal Anderson Park is now gone. I just noticed this evening as I was walking home.

Well, that’s not technically the reservoir but, yay, seemed like those fences were up forever. Fantastic.

What a relief. That darn fence was ruining my photos.

The Gatehouse houses the pumps and other equipment that service the buried Lincoln Reservoir facility. It was repaired and restored by Seattle Public Utilites in a project that among other things, fixed the roof and resurfaced the exterior.
