Street art hype, reality on Hill as Banksy film and tough new gallery show open - UPDATE: Banksy on Capitol Hill Seattle?

Slog sez there may be original Banksy street art somewhere on Capitol Hill:

when i was walking home from the bar about an hour ago i spotted what seemed to be a bonafide banksy original on the theater's wall!

Real or just hype to coincide with the opening of Exit Through the Gift Shop at the Harvard Exit?

In the real category, this postering of 11th Ave's to-be developed Sun Electric building:

The face is Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes, the man who settled a $185,000 lawsuit against the city after being beaten by Seattle police outside the War Room in 2005. To Serve and Protect, a show exploring the Alley-Barnes incident, opens tonight at pun(c)tuation gallery.

You can find the postering at 11th and Pine and pun(c)tuation gallery at 705 E. Pike. Banksy? You'll have too look harder for him.

UPDATE 1:05 PM:
Friend or faux?

From the CHS flickr pool, much lovelier shots of the work from shutterbug liquidnight. Thanks for sharing!

rats
Someone's been stenciling little rats all over Capitol Hill for awhile now. I get a kick out of them whenever I spot one!

Probably faux, or partially so.
Wonder if he's got a deal with local theater owners where he "licenses" the stencils when they lease the film for viewing.

I had this same thought after seeing this first hand while walking out of the movie last night. Seems a lot more plausable then Banksy himself showing up for this one stencil, which happens to show up only on Harvard Exit property.
Maybe if we see a few more pieces of his around the city, will this be proved incorrect.
