Two items wiener + Capitol Hill for you to consider. The first is a warning. Don’t spit on the hot dog guy:

The man told police he had stopped by a hot dog stand on Pine and Crawford on Capitol Hill around 12:30am, and purchased a hot dog.
The man told police he gave the vendor a $10 bill to pay for a $5 hot dog, but didn’t receive any change.
The man argued with the vendor, walked off, and came back to “re-address his complaint,” the report says. He then swore at the vendor and “spit to the side” of him. “The victim emphasized that he did not spit on the suspect,” according to the report.
At some point during the confrontation, the vendor threw a pan of hot grease on the man, burning him.
A more satisfying experience, perhaps, can be had Thursday night as a large corporation performs some slick marketing and buys 200 people a Comet Dog:
The bus stop has landed in front of Quinn’s on the 1000 block of Pike, between 10th and 11th, in Seattle. Tomorrow (Thursday) from 6 to 7:30pm, we’ll have some musical entertainment and free Comet dogs to kick it off.

Just when I start feeling like I’m getting a feel for Capitol Hill, my favorite hot dog dealer burns the shit out of someone with his weiner grease….actually, I guess I do have a pretty good feel for Capitol Hill.
All that for less than 10.00 ???? Jesus, the bad press is going to cost someone business …. crazy vendor.

sounds like another web piece/advert being shot for jansport with unwitting participants . . . just like the 500 pine block party last summer. see homepage of http://www.jansport.com. but hey, you get a free concert and jansport gets to use your image for free.
How have I missed this vendor outside Capitol Club or Area 51? Nontheless, stupid move on the part of the vendor. Better to call Johnny law and let them deal with the pissed off patron than to potentially mame them with hot grease.
I doubt the hot dog vendor will recover from this mess! All over 5 bucks? I see anger management classes in the future.
