Fuel Coffee is opening its new location today down the hill in Montlake. It’s right across from the Montlake Ale House and the new library. We’re not attending the big grand opening but it’s cool to watch Danielle Cone’s caffeine empire expanding. We don’t know the Fuelsters — we just wander in and out like the rest of you — but they’re the best baristas a neighborhood can have: hip, hustling and friendly. We’re expecting the 19th Ave location to not skip a beat. BTW, we missed this peek into Danielle’s life that ran in the Seattle Times this summer. She’s busy. Now she’s busy x2. Good luck!

BTW, despite the big opening pary on Saturday, Fuel Montlake isn’t quite open for regular business yet. We stopped by today and saw a sign posted saying they won’t be open for regular hours until later this week. Just wanted to make sure you weren’t too disapointed Monday a.m. when you stop by on your way to work.
